This inaugural event marks the beginning of an exciting tradition dedicated to supporting the Downtown Beautification Committee, a subcommittee of the Rittman Chamber of Commerce appointed by the Chamber’s Board of Directors. The committee’s mission is to enhance and revitalize our community’s public spaces, making downtown Rittman a more welcoming and vibrant place for residents, businesses, and visitors.

The Downtown Beautification Committee operates under the guidance of the Rittman Chamber of Commerce and is committed to improving Rittman’s downtown area through landscaping, public art, and infrastructure enhancements. The committee’s efforts focus on fostering community pride and engagement by creating an inviting atmosphere for everyone.

  • 🌳 Landscaping & Green Spaces – Planting flowers, trees, and greenery to beautify streets, parks, and gathering areas. Maintaining planters and seasonal decorations to keep downtown visually appealing year-round.

  • 🚶 Street & Infrastructure Improvements – Installing benches, decorative lighting, and signage to improve walkability and enhance the overall aesthetic of downtown spaces.

  • 🛍️ Business District Enhancements – Partnering with local businesses to improve storefronts, introduce community-friendly spaces, and promote economic growth through a welcoming atmosphere.

  • Registration: Begins at 7:30 PM

  • 5K Run: Starts at 9:00 PM

  • 1M Sleepwalk: Starts at 9:30 PM

  • Awards: Prizes will be given to the top male and female finisher in each age bracket, with grand prizes for the overall top male and female runner.
