Celebrate Rittman’s America 250-OH Ohio Creates: Arts, Culture & Literature event by visiting landmarks around town and creating your own artwork inspired by each location! Art supplies will be available on-site, or feel free to bring your own and let your creativity shine. Scan the QR code to upload your masterpiece to our online gallery, take it home, or leave it to be displayed at the Rec Center or City Hall! 🎨✨

Join us as Rittman celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary with the planting of a Heritage White Oak tree at William J. Robertson Nature Preserve. Part of a statewide initiative to plant one tree in each of Ohio’s 88 counties, this event serves as a lasting symbol of growth, history, and community. Wayne County Commissioners and an arborist will be present for the planting and a brief photo opportunity.
From Rails to Trails: A Walk Through Time
Take a self-guided walk along Rittman’s trail and explore how transportation helped shape our community. Featuring interactive signs and a family-friendly scavenger hunt, this all-ages experience invites you to learn, explore, and enjoy the trail at your own pace.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to host stops along the trail! Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume, engage with families, and help hand out treats and special pieces of each child’s Halloween Buddy — a festive keepsake that kids will treasure long after the event.
