🌼 The Downtown Rittman Beautification Committee and the Rittman Chamber of Commerce proudly present the 2025 Rittman Fall Flowerpot Decorating Contest!

Businesses, residents, and community organizations—this is your chance to help bring color, creativity, and seasonal charm to our downtown streetscape! You will be assigned on of the flowerpots along Main Street and you will show us your most beautiful, whimsical, or downright festive fall designs. DESIGNS MUST INCLUDE A SCARECROW

💲 Entry Fee:
$20 for Chamber Members
$25 for Non-Members
All proceeds support the Downtown Rittman Beautification Committee’s ongoing efforts to enhance and revitalize our community spaces.

📅 Submit your entry form by Monday, September 22 at 5 PM to be part of the fun. Let’s work together to dress up Downtown Rittman for the season and celebrate our community’s creativity!

Contest Rules:

  • Businesses where pots are located get first claim. Others will be assigned on a first come first serve basis and will be notified by email about its location. 

  • Decorating will start on Wednesday, October 1st and must be completed by Monday October 5th.

  • Pot decorations must be "fall themed" and include a scarecrow.

  • Any decorations which are controversial, profane, or promote your business may risk removal.

  • Your pot will receive a number and QR Code, so your business will be promoted on social media.

  • Designs must be family-friendly and appropriate content as determined by the Chamber.

  • Decorations must be secured and able to withstand the elements.

  • No business logos, names, items, etc. be used in any decorations: chamber will provide sponsorship signs in each pot.

  • All decorations must be in or attached to the pot assigned. 

  • DO NOT REMOVE ANY SOIL OR PLANT MATERIAL FROM THE POTS.

  • The Downtown Rittman Beautification Committee and Chamber Board will judge entries for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners by Oct. 30th.

  • The People's Choice Award will be selected by the public via social media voting. And will be announced by Oct 30th.

  • Pots will remain on display until Nov. 2. You must remove your decorations by Tuesday, Nov. 4.

  • ENTIRES NOT REMOVED BY 8AM ON NOVEMBER 9th WILL BE DISPOSED OF.
